How to Forward a Single Email in Gmail (Desktop)

  1. Go to Gmail.com and sign in.
  2. Go to your inbox.
  3. Click on the email you want to forward.
  4. Once the email thread is, click on the three vertical dots on the top right corner of the email.
  5. Click “Forward”.
  6. Type in the recipient of the email.
  7. Click “Send”.

If you’ve opened a long email thread and the message you want to forward doesn’t show up, expand it. In between the original and last two messages, you’ll see a number inside a circle that indicates the number of messages that aren’t displayed. Click on the number to expand the thread. Follow the steps above to forward the email.

How to Forward Multiple Emails in Gmail (Desktop)

  1. Go to Gmail.com and sign in.
  2. Go to your inbox.
  3. Select the emails you want to forward by clicking the boxes next to the email.
  4. Click the three vertical dots at the top menu bar.
  5. Select “Forward as attachment” from the drop down menu.
  6. Write the email in the new window.
  7. Click “Send”.

  1. Open the Gmail app.
  2. Open the email you want to forward.
  3. Tap the three vertical dots on the right hand side of the email.
  4. Tap “Forward”.
  5. Type in the recipient of the email.
  6. Click “Send”.
