Definition of the term "Alt Text"
Alt text is a description of an image that’s shown in its place when the picture doesn’t load. The ALT attribute or “alt” tag goes inside HTML code on webpages to help improve user experience and SEO rating if images do not show up normally. This may be due to problems such as those who block pictures, providers without auto-show options, etc.. You can still see this by hovering over it with your mouse – so make sure you add some great descriptions!
