The tinyEmail REST API lets Enterprise accounts run email marketing from their own code. Requests use an API key in the X-API-KEY header and work from any language that can make HTTP requests.

Contacts

Add or update contacts with their attributes and tags, and look up any contact by email.

Audiences

Create, update and delete audiences, import or append contacts from CSV, and unsubscribe a contact.

POST /audiences/import

List cleaning

Clean a whole list or a single contact, then check the cleaning history and download the results.

Campaigns and scheduling

Create, update, start, pause and delete campaigns. Schedule a send in UTC or repeat it on chosen weekdays.

Three steps to your first request

Create a key, add one header and call the API from the language you already use.

    Use an Enterprise account

    The tinyEmail API is available on Enterprise accounts. On another plan? Talk to our team about upgrading.

  2. 2

    Create an API key

    In app.tinyemail.com, go to My Account › API Keys and create a key.

  3. 3

    Send requests

    Put the key in the X-API-KEY header. Each key can make 60 requests a minute; ask support if you need more.

The tinyEmail API is available on Enterprise accounts. If you're on another plan, talk to our team about upgrading to Enterprise.

Each API key can make 60 requests a minute. If you need a higher limit, contact our support team.

No SDK is needed. It's a REST API, so you call it with the HTTP client in any language, including Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby and Go.

Yes, from your own code. You can schedule a campaign for a date and time, repeat it on chosen weekdays, and start or pause it through the API. Visual workflows are built in the tinyEmail app.

You can unsubscribe a contact, add contacts to your suppression lists and delete whole audiences. For anything else, talk to our team.

The tinyEmail API is for marketing email. For password resets, receipts and other app emails, use tinyRelay, our SMTP relay and transactional email service.
